Safety etc. is a Workers’ Compensation Board of BC and Canadian Red Cross authorized training provider.
Pro-Safe Traffic Service offers professional traffic management solutions to government, construction and utility companies. We specialize in temporary lane closures with our fully equipped 'lane closure trucks' staffed with competent 'lane-techs' and TCPs. Our traffic control personnel know the rules and use common sense in their application. Additionally, all employees receive continuous training, guidance, supervision, and are paid at the top of their industry 'pay-scale'.
Our rates charged for services are competitive but reflect the level of professionalism that our employees provide to our clients and the public traversing work-zones. We all take pride at providing worker safety and know that we are the first-line-of-defense. It is 'our-job' to minimize our clients' exposure to liability and know well that claims avoided are as good as money earned!
A 'pdf' version of our brochure explaing complete services offered along with rates charged will be available here soon.

In lay-terms we would use the word 'marriage' but technically it is a joint venture. Both companies have their unique focus but duplication of services offered did exist. While Safety etc. primarily offers first aid training they also train TCPs. To satisfy another employer need Safety etc. offers temporary staffing solutions that included TCPs.
Pro-Safe's primary business is complete traffic management services including the provision of qualified personnel. In-house training of TCPs was offered and the demand for TCPs with Level 1 First Aid was growing. Katherine Keras is a fully qualified instructor and while she did consider certifying Pro-Safe for first aid training it made business sense to explore a joint venture with a company such as Safety etc. Safety etc. also had a need for another qualified instructor.
Pro-Safe will no longer offer training. All training will now be offered through Safety etc. Safety etc. will continue offering temporary staffing solutions but requests for traffic management personnel are forwarded to Pro-Safe's dispatch. Additionally, Katherine is now under contract with Safety etc. as an instructor. The monetary details of the 'marriage' are, of course, confidential.
